This is a small family run guesthouse with only a handful of rooms. It is very outdated, the interior is old and there are only narrow stairs but no lift, so we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs.
We booked a double room with shower. One thing we found really weird is there is no toilet inside the room. There is only a shared toilet, which was not specified when we booked. The shower is also not separated by a door, it looks very old and the drain seems a bit cloaked, temperature could be very hot or cold.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room temperature was very cold the first night but when asked they helped us turn on the heating.
This place really is just a guesthouse. Do not expect it to be like a hotel. But the staff are friendly.

From the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful and accommodating nothing was too much for them. Accommodation was excellent and the bed was so comfortable. It is only a short walk from the Great Central Railway which we had a great day visiting. Loughborough Town is also a short walk from the hotel. We did not manage to fit in a meal at their Thai restaurant however on our next visit we will make room in our plans to fit it in. Thank you for a great stay.

Absolutely horrible experience! The beds were not clean and sheets were stained and dirty filled with bed bugs.

We stayed in a family room - one double and single bed. The room was dirty, dusty and room was overall disappointing. I couldn’t wait to get home to shower. We saw the appearance of a double room and was much better, I believe they’ve forgotten about the family rooms.

Very welcoming. Staff would do absolutely anything for you. Baz gives you lots of advice and humour. Lovely family run place. Would certainly stay again. Beds comfy and very clean Food great and lovely restaurant to eat in. Thai massages excellent. A lovely start to our pre flight honeymoon. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Me and my partner have just been here for a 1 hour massage, we both absolutely loved it and will be coming back again. Sorry we can’t remember the ladies names who did our massages but we were booked in 31 May 3.00pm. Both ladies were very friendly and welcoming and put a lot of effort into our massages, the other staff were very nice too! We would also like to come to the restaurant as food smelt delicious! Thanks again!

Restaurant food is excellent Good value Friendly staff Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Thai food. Can not fault it. We’ve booked in for next Friday night as well. I think we’ve found our new go to place. Thank you for a lovely lunch and a special start to the weekend.

Let's start off with the negative. Google Maps calls this hotel 4 star. It's not - but then it doesn't charge what a 4 star hotel would. What you get is what it calls itself: a guesthouse. With very friendly, helpful staff and a small but very comfortable room. I didn't have a massage, so can't comment on those, but look out for midweek discounts. I did, though, discover it has a Thai restaurant (not mentioned on the website). I went there simply for convenience, but found the food was great. Spicy means spicy, not the sort of medium version you get in some Thai restaurants, so take their labels seriously. And the food is freshly prepared and made on the spot - definitely to be recommended.

Used for a 2 night stay, the room was more than adequate for my needs and the staff were exceptional through out my whole stay & so helpful, had an evening meal there which was really nice at a good price and the breakfast left me full all day. If I'm in that area again I would defiantly stay there again. Phil
